The Laboratory Services of Southern Shore Hospital provides accurate and timely results which contributes a great deal to the care of our patients. Laboratory investigations are important for almost every patient who comes into contact with hospitals, and those who receive treatments in facilities within the community other than the hospital.

Tests carried out by laboratory scientists are done on blood, urine or other fluid or tissue samples.
